NOEL Edmonds' agent John Miles has confirmed that the presenter will quit television should he win I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
The presenter's long-standing representative appeared on This Morning alongside Noel's Swap Shop co-host Maggie Philbin and Mr Blobby, who hilariously thrashed through the ITV set.
Speaking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes from Bristol, John was asked about a post that the I'm A Celebrity Instagram account put out before he went into the jungle, which stated he would quit TV if he was crowned King of the Jungle.
Responding to the speculation, John, who also represents fellow camper Nick Knowles, replied: "Well you know Noel, he says lots of things tongue-in-cheek.
"I don't know, we'll have to wait and see."
Not impressed with the answer, Phil pushed: "He must have informed you, his manager? 'If I win this thing, that's it, I'm quitting the business, I'm retiring'".
To which, John answered: "Yes, he did say that. It's true."
John, who convinced Noel to take his presenting role on Deal Or No Deal, admitted that the host has been asked a number of times throughout the years to go into the jungle.
Although originally declining previous offers, John explained that Noel was looking for a "challenge".
He shared: "For many years we've been asked but the answer was Noel doesn't do reality television.
"But this year, he thought, 'why not? It's a challenge.' I'm pleased, I'm a big fan of the show."
And while the studio was in a state of calm during the interview, it was sent into chaos after John's comments when Noel's Fun House co-star, Mr Blobby, came barrelling through the studio and towards the couch.
The giant pink TV star hilariously thrashed through the morning stalwart's set as he rushed towards Phil and Rochelle, creating absolute chaos in his path.
He eventually tumbled onto the couch alongside Swap Shop's Maggie Philbin, who jokingly punched him while Phil and Rochelle delivered a piece to camera.
Falling to the floor, Phil shrieked: "Did you just punch him? I think he's winded."
