Strictly’s Katya and Neil Jones ‘still avoiding each other backstage’ seven weeks on from Sean Walsh kiss scandal
NEIL and Katya Jones are "still avoiding each other" backstage at Strictly - seven weeks after Katya and comic Seann Walsh's snogging scandal.
The pair have put on a united front in public but it has now been reported that the two professional dancers are unable to put the kiss behind them.
In fact, Neil and Katya were spotted behaving awkwardly around each other - with the married couple seemingly reluctant to spend time together as they filmed for the BBC One dance show.
Speaking to, a show insider said: "Katya and Neil were filming a pre-recorded pro-dance routine and things were clearly very awkward between them.
"They were avoiding each other whenever they were off-camera and Katya seemed like she was a completely different person when she wasn't with Neil.
"Katya was laughing and joking with all the other pros but whenever she was with Neil she was stone-faced.
"Neil also seemed reluctant to speak to his wife and was more interested in having fun with the rest of the crew."
A rep for the show denied the claims to the publication.
Neil and Katya's romance fell victim to the infamous Strictly Curse last month, when Katya was spotted passionately kissing her celebrity partner, Seann Walsh, after a drunken night out.
Following their sexy snog, Katya and Seann issued a grovelling apology before continuing like normal on the show.

They were eventually kicked off three weeks later - after insiders told The Sun Online that the atmosphere backstage had turned toxic.
However, Katya has continually insisted that her marriage to Neil was not affected by the kiss and admitted last month that she wanted to start a family with him.
Neil hasn't publicly commented on the scandal, although he did confess that he has had to "deal with a lot of s***" in a poignant Instagram post earlier this month.
