Noel Edmonds leaves fans furious as he gets care package TWO days into I’m A Celebrity – as they mock stars for crying about missing home
VIEWERS watched Noel Edmonds receieved his care package last night after just two days in camp- and fans weren't happy about it.
The 69-year-old presenter was guaranteed his package due to being Emperor of the camp, while other celebs missed out as he was joined by advisor Harry Redknapp in choosing which eight celebrities would receive their packages out of eleven people.
Not understanding why Noel was crying after being away from home after such a short space of time, many viewers took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
"#ImACeleb why was noel crying? He has only been in 2 days. B******t care package trial," one said.
Another added: "Now Noel's crying!! He's only been in there a day! #ImACeleb"
Meanwhile, viewers were left bemused as to why the celebrities were getting so upset, despite only being on the show for such a short space of time.
One said: "Everyone crying their eyes out over the care packages like they’ve been away from their families for 5 months. It’s been 5 DAYS ffs #imaceleb"
While another commented: "Why are they all crying their eyes out like they haven't seen their family in 6 years. They saw them 5 days ago and are waiting for them in a 5 star hotel 20 minutes away. Swear they usually do the care packages much later into the series #ImACeleb"
But, it was Nick and James that viewers seemed most concerned about, as they appeared visibly distressed and upset listening to the other celebrities getting their letters.
One wrote: "Actually broke my heart seeing James and Nick crying."
A second added: "Never did I think I'd be crying at I'm a celebrity... but here i am. Still crying because james and nick cried and didn't get the care packages they deserved."
Harry justified the decision not to gift them a package, saying: "Nick, who I think is the strongest man here. I thought if anyone could take not getting a parcel tonight..."
He continued: "James, you are an absolutely outstanding young fella, absolutely, I can't tell ya. You are amazing."
The conditions of the task saw Noel guaranteed his letter from home before the other stars, although Harry made the decision to pass on hearing well wishes from his loved ones.
Instead, the pair chose to give the letters to everyone except for The Vamps guitarist James McVey and DIY SOS star Nick Knowles, despite their efforts alongside The Chase Governess Anne Hegarty to win them earlier in the day.
Most of the I'm A Celebrity camp mates became very emotional after hearing from their loved ones, with Sair Khan, Fleur East, Rita Simons and Emily Atack revealing that they had been missing home.
Although with the emotional scenes confusing fans, many took to Twitter to mock the celebrities and pointed out that they had barely been away for a week.
Later on in the Bush Telegraph, James admitted: "I had a bit of a wobble. I know that Kirstie is thinking of me and stuff. I am alright."
Nick also revealed that he had been touched by Harry's comment, saying: "I was really touched this evening, properly touched by what Harry said at there at the end there."
The camp mates were seen crying and hugging each other before the show cut for a break.
