NOEL Edmonds has infuriated pals of his I’m A Celebrity campmates by sniping at them before going into the jungle.
The veteran broadcaster, 69, who caused ructions immediately as the new emperor on the ITV show, blasted the others on camera ahead of his late arrival.
The Deal or No Deal star let rip on video — claiming fellow OAP Harry Redknapp, 71, would not be able to hack it while John Barrowman, 51, was a “jungle queen” who would “dominate” the others.
He accused James McVey, 24, of being self-obsessed, predicted Anne Hegerty, 60, would scare the spiders and insisted Nick Knowles, 56, was “out of his depth”.
After arriving at camp, jungle emperor Noel appointed former football manager Harry as his special advisor.
But he said beforehand: “Harry, I don’t know why but I feel he might not be the greatest with the outdoors. It’s probably because I’ve seen him drive too many Range Rovers.
“Does he look like the sort of person who can rough it? No, he doesn’t.”
Noel said of Vamps’ star James: “I think if he were to have a luxury item it would be a 42ft Winnebago caravan, probably with a framed photograph of himself on the side.”
Taking aim at DIY SOS star Nick, he went on: “I think he is gritty, very determined. I think he is probably very good at covering up if he’s a bit nervous, and feels a little bit out of his depth.”
He also had a pop at Chase star Anne, saying: “I can absolutely guarantee that Anne Hegerty has terrified every spider, snake and cockroach within a hundred miles of here. I mean I’m terrified and I haven’t met her.”
Noel has been bossing campmates around since his arrival — and has already locked horns with Torchwood star John Barrow-man, 51.
And he said of him beforehand: “He is one of those people that you think you know. I think he is self-styled queen of the jungle and I expect him to sit on the throne and dominate proceedings and we will all be his loyal subjects.”
A source close to Anne said last night: “Noel’s been a bit harsh — but he’s been put in there to cause problems and he’ll succeed.
“Anne doesn’t take any prisoners, so she would bring it up with him if she found out and defend herself too.”
James’ bandmates also rallied around to the defend the musician. Vamps lead singer Brad Simpson, 23, said: “James isn’t vain at all. He’s just not like that, he’s a very caring and down-to-earth lad.
“Just because he’s a good-looking lad doesn’t mean he spends hours looking at himself in the mirror.”

BBC’s OTT over show
THE BBC has been slammed for giving too much airtime to discussing I’m A Celebrity.
Despite being on rival channel ITV, the show had over 70 mentions on BBC broadcasts, websites and social media this month.
Radio 2 dedicated an entire Sounds Of The 80s Mastermix to celebrate its return, while even a segment of high-brow Radio 4 arts and culture show Front Row was used to discuss how this year’s series would fare without host Ant McPartlin.
Duncan Simpson, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: “The BBC must ensure the licence fee is spent responsibly. This seems rather over the top.”
Meanwhile, ex-EastEnder Rita Simons, 41, brought back memories of her mouthy Albert Square character Roxy Mitchell in an off-air rant during Noel’s entrance.
Host Dec Donnelly revealed: “Rita wasn’t very happy down at the trial.
“She had a little go at Noel and Harry when they were discussing something. She said, ‘Weren’t you two listening?’ She was being very brave.”
