Hollywood legend Robert De Niro to become the new face of Warburtons bread
ROBERT De Niro will become the new face of Warburtons bread, The Sun can reveal.
The Taxi Driver legend will front their advertising — replacing Peter Kay, who is taking a break from work.
And before Peter took the role — which is believed to come with a six-figure payday — Sylvester Stallone, 72, had the gig.
Hollywood hero Robert, 75, will fly into the UK this weekend ahead of shooting the commercials.
Bosses are keeping the location, thought to be in London, secret after the actor was among President Donald Trump’s critics sent suspicious packages last month.
A TV source said: “Warburtons absolutely love getting big names to front their adverts and they don’t come much bigger than De Niro. They’ve set the bar higher than ever.”

The news comes days after it emerged the actor had split from Grace Hightower after more than 20 years of marriage.
He married Grace, 63, in 1997 after they met at a restaurant in London. They have two children — Elliot, 20, and Helen Grace, six.
Robert had filed for divorce in 1999 but they reconciled and renewed their vows in 2004.
