THE Apprentice's Jasmine Kundra has defended pushing Sabrina Stocker away when she tried to hug her following a feisty boardroom battle.

In this week's episode, the learning and development manager blamed her actions on "bitter disappointment" as she became the latest hopeful to be fired by Lord Alan Sugar from the hit BBC show.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, the 34-year-old contestant from the West Midlands admitted she regretted the shove she gave her team mate when she was eliminated from the competition - but she insisted 22-year-old Sabrina's hug had been "disingenuous".

The star - who was project manager for the task, which saw the teams visit Glasgow to dip their toes in the art world - explained: ";It was just bitter disappointment on my part.

"It was mine and Sabrina's third difficult week working together.

";I tried it my way when I took over as she said in the advertising [task], then I tried it her way and did everything she asked on the gardening [task].

"Then I thought I don't know what to do with you now.

"In that moment it just felt very disingenuous and so I just had enough by that point."

Many fans were shocked to see Jasmine go after the spat, but the star insisted that behind the scenes she got on with Sabrina, making her "disappointed" in herself for her aggressiveness in her final moments on the show.

She said: "Behind the scenes, we all got on very well. We all lived in that house harmoniously, quite dysfunctional family."

"The unspoken rule, what happens on tour, stays on tour. The girls especially got on so well.

"They are a wonderful bunch of ladies. We didn’t fall into the trap of bickering or cattiness.

"We would often share clothes, share makeup, do each other’s hair. It was a nice environment to be in.

"We needed that because the process is so tough. When you come home, you want to be able to relax and switch off."

She continued: "This is why I was especially disappointed in myself as well, my working relationship with Sabrina.

"Off task we get on so well, then for some reason I probably couldn’t work with my best friend - that was a recipe for disaster.

"I think that’s what happened with Sabrina and I - I have a lot of respect for her. She is a great girl but working together was a disaster."

It comes a week after Kayode Damali revealed the sneaky, tried-and-tested tactic Sabrina used to get him fired.

In the previous episode, the public speaker - who insisted he should have been the one ultimately hired by Lord Sugar - became the seventh contestant to be eliminated.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, the 26-year-old contestant from Cheshire said that he fell foul of an age-old Apprentice tactic.

Kayode, who was brought back into the boardroom by project manager Tom Bunday, 28, along with Sabrina, explained: "I knew Tom would bring me back on, I knew that was coming.

"We had clashes during the task. I respect him - it's like being in the playground when kids have a scrap.

"Unfortunately for me I came out on the losing side.

"I got on with Sabrina, but I wasn't surprised she turned on me in the boardroom.

"People don't want to stick it on the project manager in case they get brought back.

"I never ran with that tactic, but I think a lot of people did try to side with the PM so that if they were on the losing team they could say they'd always been on their side.

Despite being fired, he added: "In my head I'm not fired, I've already won. Anyone could take the silver as long as I'd won.

"I was shocked it was me who went. Maybe I was a bit too complacent because I thought Lord Sugar would remember how good I am."
