Game Of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer splits from fiance Anthony Byrne after 11 years together following ‘massive arguments’

NATALIE Dormer has broken up with her fiancé Anthony Byrne after 11 years together following a series of rows.

The star revealed the couple had secretly split earlier this summer after over a decade together.

Natalie, 36, confirmed the break-up to the  after the pair had co-written their thriller In Darkness together.

The couple had met on the set of The Tudors in 2007 before getting engaged in 2011 but never got round to setting a date for their wedding.

Natalie had hinted at issues in their relationship while creating In Darkness - a thriller about a blind musician called Sofia, who hears a murder committed the flat upstairs -which starred Emily Ratajkowski.

The Game Of Thrones star had spoken out about getting into massive rows during the script-writing process .

In 2016 she said: “I don’t know if you’ve ever been in a writing room but I wouldn’t recommend it with your other half."

And Irish director Anthony, 43, had also alluded to difficult times in an interview with the

"We've since discovered that what we were doing was completely the wrong way to write together.

"Well, we learned quickly, but we didn't learn from our mistakes,"

"Because we didn't have an office or anything, we were in our own home writing, and then it would all kick off because we would disagree about something fundamentally or I would be a pain in the arse

"And I would challenge Nat, or myself. It's very easy to go, 'Oh, don't worry about that, it's going to be fine,'

"And you have to police that and in doing so you end up being the bad guy and end up having massive arguments."
