EXTRA Camp's Joel Dommett was rushed to hospital after being hit on the head with a wooden sign during rehearsals.
The presenter, 32, required seven stitches after the accident, which happened during the windy weather in the early hours of Wednesday morning, and is not taking part in tonight’s ITV2 show alongside co-hosts Scarlett Moffatt and Joe Swash.
He said: “Unfortunately due to unforeseen windy circumstances blowing the set onto my head during rehearsals, I won’t be able to present Extra Camp this evening.
"I had seven stitches like a big brave boy and I’ll be back tomorrow.
"To be honest I’m less worried about my health and more worried that the show will be better without me. Half a day off school to go home and watch neighbours! Woo!”
Joel shared a selfie on his Instagram as he had his stitches.
Grimacing underneath some material, it looked like Joel had retained his sense of humour.
Joel's colleagues Scarlett and Joe continued in his absence tonight and were joined by Megan McKenna and Andi Peters.
