Mel B’s ex Stephen Belafonte seen with mystery woman after her daughter claimed he beat up their dog
STEPHEN Belafonte has stepped out with an unknown woman in Los Angeles shortly after it was claimed he punched ex-wife Mel B’s daughter’s dog.
Film producer Stephen, 43, was dressed in a black Atari sweatshirt, black trousers and black and white trainers as he was spotted leaving the Sunset Marquis Hotel on Sunset Boulevard in the West Hollywood area of the city.
His unidentified friend wore a black dress with white stripes down the side and matching shoes as they were pictured at around 10pm.
She carried a black handbag and had painted her lips bright red with lipstick.
The pair are said to have become very irritated as they were seen leaving the hotel when they had been spotted.
Spice Girl Mel, 43, has been very open about the abuse she claims she suffered at the hands of ex Stephen in her book Brutally Honest which is out later this month.
And Scary Spice, whose divorce from American Stephen was finalised in December 2017, has even included details in the autobiography about the trauma her children suffered during her marriage to him.
In her own words, Mel’s first daughter, 19-year-old Phoenix Chi from her marriage to first husband, backing dancer Jimmy Gulzar, wrote: “He beat up my dog, and laughed when Lordy got so ill he had to be put down. ‘Now you don’t have to walk him.’”
Mel today shared a picture of Phoenix from when she was younger cuddling up to their dog Lordy on Instagram.

She wrote: “Ahhhh look!!! My beautiful daughter @phoenixisphoenix and our beautiful dog Lordy, they were inseparable.
“When I look back I remember the happy moments with our family dog as well as the painful ones and I am sooooo grateful for all the memories he gave us. RIP LORDY.
“Not a day goes by that we don’t talk about you and miss you dearly.”
Phoenix added in Mel's book that she never warmed to Stephen and grew to hate him over the years.
She wrote: “The first time I set eyes on Stephen, I didn’t like him. My mom had just had a baby and I was with my grandma in our hotel room when this big, loud dude appeared, being super-friendly and all over her and Angel.
"And then Stephen was around all the time. He was driving me to school, living in our house, telling me when I could have something to eat and drink, telling me him and my mom were getting married.
