Sally – played by Sally Dynevor in the ITV soap - is nervous about the prospect of spending more time in prison and – when she takes the stand – earnestly tells the jury that she didn’t steal any money, didn’t have an affair and loves her husband dearly. But will they believe her?

Meanwhile Sally’s solicitor, Paula Cunliffe, is rattled when she hears about Sally’s antics with Abi Franklin the previous week and tells her that she might have to inform the prosecution.

The time then comes for Sally’s sister, Gina Seddon, to take the stand but will she come through for Sally after secretly meeting up with Duncan?

As the prosecution sum up their case, Sally is left horrified as they paint a picture of her being morally corrupt and undeniably guilty.

Paula tries her best to show that Sally was innocently taken in by Duncan’s twisted lies, but who will they believe?

As the jury consider their verdict and Sally faces a long stretch,  her husband Tim Metcalfe – Joe Duttine - is convinced that Sally did have an affair with Duncan after hearing the evidence.

Sally is devastated and Tim later confides in Gina that he feels an idiot for believing his wife and Sally tells Gina that she can’t bear the thought of Tim thinking she’s a liar.

Torn between her feelings for Tim and love for her sister, Gina tells Tim she’s moving out but Tim insists he wants her to stay.

What will she do?
