SHANE Lynch has fans desperate for him to sign up for Strictly Come Dancing 2019 after he won the trophy on Children In Need's version of the ballroom competition.
The Boyzone band member wowed audiences with his fancy footwork on the charity programme tonight.
The 42-year-old singer started the dance routine with a solo performance, before he danced the quickstep with professional partner Luba Mushtuk.
Shane's fellow boy band members, Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham, took to the dancefloor for their own performances before the foursome united for a group sequence.
Although the No Matter What hitmakers were all praised for their dancing ability by judges Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell, it was Shane who stood out from the rest and was crowned the champion.
Bruno gushed: "I have to say Shane started like a true leading man, and then he was off like Lewis Hamilton fast, light-footed, springy, very confident. A very nice quickstep."
Shirley then announced the winner, she said: "First of all, all the couples were fantastic, and it was very very close.
"The winning couple is... Shane and Luba."
Shane's performance saw viewers flock to social media to praise the star and petition for him to sign up for Strictly Come Dancing next year.
One person tweeted: "@bbcstrictly Please can Shane Lynch be on next year’s SCD?
Another shared: "I'd be well pleased to have Shane Lynch in the proper Strictly line-up next year, he was a bit good at that. Can that be a thing, please?"
A third added: "Shane probably was the best dancer, but also the one I'd want to do the proper series the least."
Although Boyzone impressed viewers, they insisted they were out of their comfort zone on the programme.

Speaking about their previous dancing experiences during their time in the band before taking to the fore, Keith said: "It wasn't choreography it was clicking fingers."
Ronan added: "We've done a lot of choreography, but nothing like this. I'm not going to lie I think it's a bad idea ... It was all arm movements.
"We are not professional dancers. Honest to God I want the lads to do well so we don't look like idiots."
