Keanu Reeves plays a diamond merchant in Siberia — but it has an incomprehensible plot and is no gem

Keanu is Lucas, a diamond merchant in Russia to do a deal, which falls apart when his right hand man goes missing

MUCH like Nicolas Cage, there are two types of Keanu Reeves films – John Wick and Bill & Ted on one side, most of the rest on the other.

With the recent Mandy, Cage celebrated that and he delivered a classic performance.

Keanu Reeves does moody and magnificent, er, magnificently (but he can’t save Siberia)

This has not happened here.

Keanu is Lucas, a diamond merchant in Russia to do a deal, which quickly falls apart when his right hand man goes missing.

He meets a girl and… oh who cares, this is appalling.

With an incomprehensible and borderline offensive plot, lacklustre performances and a distinct whiff of a cash grab for Reeves.

Keanu looks hard to find something of value in Siberia

Why bother mate?

Readers, if possible, give this less of your attention than the star did – if possible.
