Is the Spice Girls tour still happening?

Yes- reports that the Spice Girls have scrapped their world tour amid the Mel B and Geri Horner lesbian sex claims have been slammed as "inaccurate and factually untrue" by the band's rep.

It was previously claimed that the iconic girl group had been lining up concerts in America, Australia and the Far East after their UK dates, but plans had been scuppered following the recent sex scandal.

reported that the group had been thrown into turmoil after Mel B, 43, revealed she had a lesbian fling with Geri, 46, in the 90s.

Further reports suggested that the pair had been in a year-long relationship – something which Ginger Spice denies.

The publication went on to add that the girls had decided to honour their British gigs but pulled the plug on plans for any international concerts once the UK tour ends on June 15.

However, a rep for the girl group told The Sun Online: "This story is inaccurate and factually untrue."

Geri issued a statement denying the liaison and had found the claims "very hurtful" - but Mel B has since slammed Geri for "making her out to be a liar".

She dropped the revelation during an interview on Piers Morgan's Life Stories - with a shocked Mel C looking on in the audience.

Scary Spice reportedly called Geri straight after the interview to smooth things over, but after Piers played the clip on Good Morning Britain, Geri was no longer cool with it.

According to the source, Geri felt as though "she had been thrown under a bus by a friend" and the band are totally on Geri's side.

When did the Spice Girls announce that they would go on tour?

The Spice Girls announced that they would be going on a UK tour on November 5, 2018

According to reports, each singer will make over 2.2 million from the 6-day reunion.

As The Sun's Bizarre column exclusively revealed, Victoria Beckham will not join her friends on this tour.

She still openly showed her support on Instagram the day the tour was announced, saying: "Being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish my girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour.

"I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!"

That means the tour will just feature a line-up of four - Geri HornerMelanie ChisholmEmma Bunton and Melanie Brown.

Who will not be performing?

In November, the Spice Girls had announced that they would be kicking off their summer tour on May 27, 2019, starting their first show at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

They had made no mention of missing band member, Victoria Beckham, who had reportedly decided not to partake in the project, blaming her hectic work schedule and strong focus on all things concerning the fashion empire she's built since departing the group.

In March, Mel B told Piers Morgan that she had a lesbian fling with fellow Spice Girl Geri Halliwell.

Supposedly, the revelation caused quite the tension between the two, but as far as everyone is concerned, Geri is very much still on the tour.

While it's said that she's not talking to Mel over the shock confession, it's believed the group will pull it together for the sake of their fans and their long-standing friendship.

Why did Mel B go to the hospital?

On May 17, 2019, Mel B was reportedly rushed to London's Moorfields Eye Hospital where she pleaded for help after making claims that she'd lost complete sight of her vision.

Mel already can't see through her left eye after suffering from a botched laser procedure back in 2014, but this terrifying incident was believed to have concerned her right eye.

Scary Spice was then transferred to Luton and Dunstable Hospital's ophthalmology department, with sources saying that she went against doctor's orders and rejoined the group to continue rehearsing for the upcoming tour.

It's unclear whether Mel could potentially face health concerns during the tour because of the supposed fact that she's not been cooperating with the instructions given to her by a specialist.
