Leon is a new face in Emmerdale - here's everything we know so far
Soap fans spotted a familiar face in Emmerdale when Victoria Barton found a new love interest in drayman, Leon.
But who is Leon? Who plays him and where might you have seen that face before? Here’s everything we know…
Who is Leon in Emmerdale?
Leon made his Emmerdale debut on November 12 2018 when he was introduced as a love interest for Victoria Barton.
But it looks like Leon could be bad news as no one seems impressed that Victoria is dating him because he’s got a reputation as a love ‘em and leave ‘em kinda guy.
Victoria is going through a tough time at the moment as she comes to terms with the fact her estranged husband Adam Barton has moved on with another woman while on the run.
She’s already had a fling with newcomer Ellis Grant and it looks like Leon is next on her hitlist. But her friend Matty Barton and step-mum Diane Sugden are worried when Victoria heads home with Leon.
Her brother Robert Sugden turns up at her house later and throws Leon out. How will Victoria react?
Who plays Leon in Emmerdale?
Drayman Leon is played by Oldham-born actor Rob Norbury who soap fans will recognise as Riley Costello from Hollyoaks.
Riley was Mercedes McQueen’s footballing baby daddy, but was actually in love with his cousin Mitzeee Minniver. He was shot and died back in 2012.
Rob still acts but he also has made a name for himself in the hospitality industry and owns a cocktail bar and restaurant called Muse.
He also refurbished an 18th century pub called The Farrars.
What else has Rob Norbury been in?
Hollyoaks is obviously the biggie but Rob was in BBC kids’ show Grange Hill playing the role of Donnie Briscoe before he headed over the Chester.
He’s also starred in Sky 1 comedy Rovers playing Mike Nolan and in ITV comedy drama Brief Encounters as PC Martin.
He was seen briefly in Kay Mellor drama series In The Club and also in Doctors.
