Peter Andre’s wife Emily says booze ban keeps their marriage strong
The medic opened up about what makes a healthy marriage as well as revealing she hopes to expand their family
EMILY MacDonagh has revealed a booze ban keeps her marriage to Peter Andre strong.
The medic was opening up about what makes a healthy marriage as well as saying she hopes to expand their family just weeks after Pete's ex Katie Price was arrested for drink driving.
Revealing why their relationship of six-and-a-half years is so successful, Emily told : "Neither of us drinks alcohol; I think drinking can sometimes cause rows."
While 45-year-old Pete gushed: "Our relationship gets better every day."
The Mysterious Girl hit-maker sung his wife's praises, saying: "‘Emily saves lives at work. And then comes home and is amazing with the kids."
He added: "Her work is so much more important that mine could ever be."
Emily chimed in saying that after being together for the better part of a decade they're "out of the honeymoon phase" but still make sure to "enjoy quality time together".
And so content are they in domestic bliss that they are considering adding to their ever-expanding brood.
Pete has been vocal in the past about his desires for another child despite Emily insisting she's not ready - but it seems that the doctor might have come round to the idea.
He revealed: "She said about four months ago that maybe we’ll have another child when Theo’s older."
The couple already share four-year-old daughter Amelia and two-year-old son Theo.
And it's been a full house for the Andres lately.
Pete's kids from his marriage to Katie Price have been living with the family since the start of the summer.
The singer took in Princess, 11, and Junior,13 while Katie deals with her ongoing bankruptcy battle and divorce from third husband Kieran Hayler.
The move came after Pete and Emily decided to give Princess and Junior's mum Katie Price time to deal with her personal and financial issues.
