Little Britain’s Matt Lucas puts stunning £2.3 million Hollywood Hills mansion up for rent
The telly star is hiring out his LA home for a £13,000 a month - but is throwing in a Doctor Who poster
LITTLE Britain's Matt Lucas has put his Hollywood Hills mansion up for rent - for a staggering £12,700 a month.
The 44-year-old bought the pad, which towers above the famous Sunset Strip, last year for £2.3 million and now he's hiring it out to the super-rich.
So, let's take the tour... if you go up the comedian's sweeping dark-wood staircase there are four bedrooms, an office and bathrooms tiled with Italian marble.
Downstairs there's a huge kitchen with a central island to sit round, a window-lined family room, and a lounge with a mighty marble fireplace.
Step outside and there's a saltwater swimming pool and spa, a hammock, an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and a barbecue - plus another dining table for good measure.
Oh, and there's also a guesthouse for any visitors you want to keep at arm's length, and towering hedges to keep any fans from peeking in.
Matt, who is worth a reported £7.4 million, first came to the public's attention in comedy panel show Shooting Stars, where he played drumming baby George Dawes.
Teaming up with David Walliams, he later went on to huge success with comedy hits Little Britain and Come Fly With Me.
He also played the alien Nardole, Peter Capaldi's sidekick in Doctor Who - a poster for which appears in one of the guest bedrooms.
He's also been in big Hollywood blockbusters, including Alice In Wonderland and Bridesmaids.
Indeed, from 2012 to 2015, he lived with his Bridesmaids co-star Rebel Wilson in West Hollywood, after his civil partnership with Kevin McGee was dissolved.
But now it seems he's in the luxury rental game.
Let's hope one of his prospective tenants squawks: "I want that one."
