Towie’s Amber Turner hits out after receiving death threats from abusive fans and blames bosses for putting her ‘under pressure’ to make good TV for the reality show
TOWIE's Amber Turner has fiercely hit back at trolls, after receiving a string of insults and even death threats online.
The 25-year-old took to Instagram today to slam producers for putting pressure on the cast to create "good TV", after putting up with shocking abusive comments from ITVBe viewers.
Amber is known for her fiery nature on the show, but has revealed she's had enough of hate from viewers after becoming involved in so many dramatic story lines.
In a lengthy message shared to her story, she wrote: "People love to put the blame on me because I'm quite loud and outspoken, then think I deserve it and the truth is I don't think I do.
"Yeah I'm opinionated and give back an attitude but it's just a defence thing for me. I've NEVER EVER once commented on anyone's looks, never called someone ugly, never called anyone a tramp, slag, slut.
"Yet you guys think it's OK to threaten to stab me when they see me, beat me up, say I deserve to get cancer and die."
Shocked by her followers' words, she went on: "WHY do I deserve that? Because I'm on a TV show and let you guys into every aspect of my life/friendships/relationships.
"Yeah we all might not deal with stuff the way YOU might. But we aren't you."
Amber went on to blast Towie bosses for putting pressure on the cast to "not be boring" on camera, meaning they often end up clashing with their co-stars and receive hate from fans.
She continued: "Every situation on Towie is heightened due to film crew, people getting in your head before scenes, the pressure to make good TV and not be boring.

"So please remember this when judging so harshly when the episode is explosive and shocking.
"I'm only 25, and yeah I've agreed to be on TV and let you into my life but never ever agreed to the abuse from social media that I get, regardless whether I'm in the right or wrong."
The reality star most recently clashed with Yazmin Oukhellou on the show, who claimed she'd excluded her from the girls' group in Essex.
However the pair buried the hatchet last weekend, with Yaz admitting she'd be "gutted" if they couldn't repair their friendship.
