X Factor is set to show all 12 performances from last night’s pre-recorded show again this evening following yesterday’s sound issues - and two people will be leaving the show.
Last night’s public vote was cancelled after the ITV show was plagued with sound problems, meaning some of the singers' performances suffered.
An X Factor spokesperson confirmed they will be shown again and that two people will leave this evening.
They said: “Each of last night’s performances from our 12 contestants will be played out in full on tonight’s X Factor before the public vote opens. This follows the sound issues on part of last night’s show.”
Fans of the show were left shocked and annoyed following a series of issues that turned the contestants and judges - Simon Cowell, Ayda Field, Robbie Williams and Louis Tomlinson - into "daleks".
A message on the screen, where the contestants' voting numbers would usually be displayed, read: "Due to a technical issue, tonight's show has been cancelled. It will open in tomorrow night's show."
The sound issues began soon after Danny Tetley took to the stage to sing Queen's 'Who Wants to Live Forever' and continued through his critique from the judges and into Anthony Russell's performance of 'Demons' by Imagine Dragons.
A message popped up on screen apologising for the "temporary" sound issues but fans took to Twitter to criticise the show.
One wrote: "How can people vote on this with sound interference? ... Come on #ITV sort it out (sic)"
Whilst another added: "Fix the sound quality for us watching please...it's unfair on the contestants when people are voting for their favourites when we can't hear properly (sic)"
A third shared: "All acts should not be able to sing untill sound is fixed THIS IS NOT FAIR ON THEM.! Sort it out X factor."
X Factor bosses made the decision to pre-recorded yesterday evening’s show to accommodate Robbie Williams’s tour schedule.
