Robbie Williams reveals he won’t be part of Take That’s comeback tour

The X Factor judge revealed he's heard nothing from his former bandmates

ROBBIE Williams won't join Take That on their 30th anniversary tour after being snubbed by his former bandmates.

The X Factor judge, 44, has revealed he isn't involved in the hit band's huge comeback tour because he was never asked, despite fans assuming that it was his decision to not be involved.

Asked if he would be a part of Take That's massive reunion next year, the Rock DJ told : "I don't think so. I haven't been asked."

The revelations will shock loyal fans who were hoping for Robbie to be in the line-up.

And while they might have thought he was to blame for his own absence, it turns out it was actually his bandmates who decided to go on the road without Robbie.

A source said: "Everyone presumed Robbie's snubbed the chance to rejoin his Take That bandmates because he was too busy but according to him it is the other way round. It appears they don't want him."

And the bad news for the Take That fans don't stop there - insiders predict Robbie, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald might never be seen on stage together again, following rumours the legendary group could retire.

Rumours are now rife that Take That could be heading for a long-term hiatus or even retirement after a cryptic message from Howard.

He tweeted: "I'm loving the fact that there is so much love for us out there. Nearly all venues have sold out but not quite! Anyone considering go get some before all the tickets go.

"We really don't know what is next after this chapter besides a nice break. X #tt30."

While some insiders claimed it was just a ploy to sell more tickets, other suggested it could be a hint of Take That's uncertain future.

A source added: "Boyzone have just announced their retirement so it wouldn't be that shocking if Take That followed suit.

"They have no plans in place after their anniversary tour so could be away for a long, long time."

Speaking to The Mirror earlier this year, Gary Barlow, 47, set fans' expectations very low as he said there was "no chance" Robbie would be joining them.

Gary said: "I wouldn’t put money on that. Don’t waste your money. I would say there’s no chance.”

However, Mark Owen, 46, revealed he still had some hope they would reunite: "I wouldn’t say there’s no chance, but I’ve always said that.”

The last time the band were seen together as a five-some was at 2011's 'Progress Live' tour, but Gary also added that he's fine with having just a trio.

He added: "We feel like we did that whole five of us in 2011, so we’re alright for a bit. We’re not sitting around waiting for people to come back."
