The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus welcomes first baby with Diane Kruger

Norman and Diane went public with their romance in March 2017

THE Walking Dead star Norman Reedus has welcomed his first baby with girlfriend Diane Kruger.

It has been confirmed that Diane recently gave birth, however, no other details - including the baby's sex, name, or birth date - have been revealed.

The newborn is 42-year-old first child, however, Norman, 49, is already dad to 19-year-old Mingus Lucien, his only child with model Helena Christensen.

magazine have confirmed the baby's arrival but reps for the famous couple have not commented on the new addition.

Diane first sparked pregnancy speculation in May of this year, when she wore a variety of loose-fitting outfits throughout Cannes Film Festival.

Neither Diane or Norman publicly commented on the pregnancy, but in August Diane proudly showed off a growing baby bump as she hailed a taxi in New York City.

The stars met while filming 2015 movie Sky, going public with their romance in March 2017.

Diane previously dated actor Joshua Jackson, who also starred alongside the couple in Sky.

The pair dated for a decade before splitting in 2016.

Meanwhile, Norman previously dated Helena, splitting in 2003 after five years together.

News of the baby's arrival comes just days after Norman's The Walking Dead salary was revealed; the actor plays Daryl Dixon in the AMC drama.

The star is said to earn £775,000 ($1 million) per episode, having starred in the show since 2010.

Norman was said to be being lined up to replace Andrew Lincoln as the lead role in the gritty zombie drama - with Andrew leaving the show earlier this year.

Norman previously confessed that he struggled to adapt to life on the set without his fellow actor, saying of Andrew's departure: "I’ve never not had lunch in my trailer with him in nine years.

"We always get my lunch and go back to my trailer, the two of us.

"So I just kinda sat there quietly, like, 'where the f*** is Andy right now?'"
