Billie Faiers says ditching booze and nights out from her Towie days has transformed her body as she reveals her pre-wedding detox diet
BILLIE Faiers has told how ditching the booze and wild nights out has transformed her body.
Mum-of-two Billie has seen her weight dramatically change since having daughter Nelly, four, and one-year-old Arthur.
And in an exclusive chat with The Sun Online, the 28-year-old has lifted the lid on leaving behind the unhealthy lifestyle she led while on Towie.
"I'm always on the go," said Billie.
"But I never have the time to go the gym.
"Greg doesn't get home until about half 5 or 6 and then it's dinner, bath and bed. I'm exhausted! So for me it's about lifestyle.
"Before I had children I was out eating all the time, drinking alcohol.
"Don't get me wrong, I love a prosecco or a white wine. I'll still have a few drinks, but nothing like what I used to.
"Back in the day you'd be out three times a week and now it's once a month if you're lucky."
Eight years on from shooting to fame on The Only Way is Essex, Billie has undergone a glam makeover.
Now she stars alongside her sister Sam in The Mummy Diaries, which kicked off its fourth series on Wednesday.
"Billie's body has changed since having children," said Sam who told The Sun Online she's planning two more kids with her partner Paul Knightley.
"Mine didn't, but hers has completely transformed. It changed for the better because you're actually smaller than you've ever been."
Billie says she detoxed on a juice diet ahead of her hen do with celebrity pals including Ferne McCann in Ibiza this summer.
She told us: "My hen was a really goal for me to just try and get in shape.
"Obviously we're in a position where we get pictured everywhere we go and in Ibiza we were in swimwear so I just wanted to feel good.
"Before the hen do I did a three-day juice detox. I didn't just juice, I still ate with it. But I felt like it cleansed me.
"But I've just got back from holiday and have been eating what I want. I think had chips every single day on holiday.
"The juice detox was quite helpful. I just need to tone for the wedding now."
