Katy Perry splashes out £5.8million on incredible new Hollywood home – and it’s JUST for her family and friends to use
KATY Perry has splashed out £5.8million on a new home in Los Angeles, solely for her friends and family to stay in.
The singer, 34, lives in a stunning Hollywood Hills mansion nearby but has snapped up the new pad - complete with its own pool, chef's kitchen and gym - for her loved ones to use as a guest house.
The property will give her friends and family a taste of Katy's glitzy lifestyle in the exclusive Hidden Valley community, which also houses Drake, Miley Cyrus and Angelina Jolie.
The Spanish-style pad spreads across 4,410 square feet and boasts its own swimming pool and outdoor lounge area, perfect for sunny Californian days.
On cosy nights in guests can relax in the large living room, complete with plush sofas, a fireplace and a grand piano, as well as stunning French doors leading out into the garden.
There's a large 10-seat dining table, where her loved ones can feast together on meals whipped up in the high-spec chef's kitchen.
Meanwhile upstairs there are two separate wings, meaning lots of friends and family can stay at the same time.
One suite boasts multiple en-suite bedrooms, two walk-in-wardrobes and a veranda, while the other features an office and home gym, making it the perfect place to both work and play.
Katy's latest house buy comes as she tries to sell her own lavish Hollywood mansion for £8.7 million.
The pop star put the house on the market over a year ago but dropped the price by $335,000 back in July in a bid to sell.
Katy will no doubt spend plenty of time at the new pad with her family friends as well as boyfriend Orlando Bloom.

Discussing their relationship earlier this year, Orlando, 41, admitted it had come as a "complete surprise" due to their difference in age.
The actor said: "I am a little older than her, so I wasn't someone overly familiar with her artistic endeavours when we met. I wouldn't have imagined anything happening.
