Carol Vorderman reveals she gets over men easily and doesn’t believe in ‘love of your life stuff’
CAROL Vorderman has revealed she doesn’t believe in the “love of your life” dream.
The 57-year-old opened up about her single life and admitted she has no trouble “getting over people”.
Speaking to the , she said: “All this ‘you have a love of your life’ stuff is just tat. It’s just from Disney, really.”
The twice married star went on to recall the statistic that half of all marriages break down and claimed she has “rarely” met any couples who have been together for over ten years who are happy.
She added: “That might make me sound hard. But I’m just very realistic. It means I make the best of my life because I’m not clinging on to any dream whatsoever.”
Discussing break-ups and being single, she said: “I don’t have a problem with getting over people. I see my life in chapters because we all change.

“The 20-year-old Carol is very different from the 57-year-old Carol, who is different from 40-year-old Carol. Therefore, why would I want someone to fit into each part of my life?
“When you’ve got a busy life dating is not the priority, not the biggest thing in my world.”
Carol - who rose to fame on Channel 4's Countdown in 1982 - first got married at the age of 24, to naval officer Chris Mather.
The pair split after just one year, and she married Paddy King four years later.
They were together for 10 years and have two children together, Katie, 27, and Cameron, 21.
Carol then went on to date pilot Graham “Duffy” Duff, who is 14 years younger than her, and has been single since their 2016 split.
