Hollyoaks viewers in tears as Tegan Lomax dies after being crushed by a tree

HOLLYOAKS are in tears after Tomax Lomas died in tonight's episode.

The mum of one - who is played by actress Jessica Ellis in the Channel 4 soap - died in hospital after being crushed by a falling tree branch during the storm.

Viewers watched in tears as her brother Ste Hay and her sister Leela broke down as the doctor told them Tegan was gone.

And they flocked to Twitter to share their devastation over the beloved character's exit.

One said: "Can’t believe Tegan has gone!!

"It won’t be the same especially since she just got everything that she’s always wanted. At least she’ll now be reunited with Ziggy.
