DAVID Schwimmer is known around the world as the neurotic Ross Geller from Friends.

Who is David Schwimmer? What is his background?
David, 51, was born November 2, 1966 and is an American actor, director, activist and producer.
He began his acting career performing in school plays at Beverly Hills High School.
In 1988, he graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in theatre and speech.
For much of the late 1980s, he lived in Los Angeles as a struggling, unemployed actor.
He starred in the television movie A Deadly Silence in 1989 and appeared in a number of television roles, including on L.A. Law, The Wonder Years, NYPD Blue and Monty, in the early 1990s.
But it was in 1994 that David shot to international fame when he landed the role of Ross Geller in hit sitcom Friends - and the rest is history.
Is David Schwimmer in Will & Grace now?
In October 2018, David made his debut in the new series of Will and Grace.
The two shows - Friends and Will & Grace - were the biggest sitcoms when they ran alongside one another in the 90s and early Noughties.

What is David's connection to Blackpool police?
On October 23, 2018, a photo released by Blackpool police of an alleged robber went viral due to their striking resemblance to David.
The doppelganger was seen clutching a crate of beer as he stared down a security camera in Blackpool.
Facebook users bombarded the appeal post with jokes inspired by the 90s sitcom.
But a Lancashire Police spokesman said: "Thank you to everyone for your speedy responses.
"We have investigated this matter thoroughly and have confirmed that David Schwimmer was in America on this date.
"We're so sorry it has to be this way".
Since then, the famous actor has responded to the situation by posting a video of himself walking through a convenience store with cans of beers and nervously staring at the CCTV.
He captioned his post, saying: "Officers I swear it wasn't me. As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation. #ItWasntMe"
