Ant McPartlin’s pals deny he’s ‘losing weight because of stress’ after divorce from Lisa Armstrong
ANT McPartlin's pals have denied he has "lost weight due to stress" of divorce from Lisa Armstrong.
The TV star was claimed to be sporting a slimmed down appearance due to the worry of final-stage negotiations with the make-up artist - but we can exclusively reveal there is "no truth" to this.
Those close to have insisted any change in his appearance is due to the end of his marriage to Lisa, 41.
An insider told The Sun Online: "There is no truth to this - he hasn't lost any weight."
It comes after a "friend" was reported by to have said the divorce - which is believed to be being finalised completely in five weeks' time - had affected the presenter physically.
They said: "He has lost a lot of weight and is worrying about the divorce."
It comes as Ant was said to be terrified his ex-wife Lisa is planning a “TV exposé” to talk about the end of their marriage.
The pair divorced nine months after their split earlier this month.
Although Ant is moving on with his life after starting a relationship with his 42-year-old former PA, Anne-Marie Corbett, it’s reported he is worried his past could come back to haunt him.
One source told The Mirror: “It looks like it will get messy.
“He wants arbitration, but he thinks Lisa may go public and may even go on TV.”
They are also at odds over who will get custody of their beloved Labrador Hurley.
The insider added: “She wants to keep their dog, but so does he.”
Ant’s representative has been approached for comment.
