'the perfect hump'

Bake Off fans in stitches at the innuendo-filled Madeleine challenge during the semi-final

BAKE Off fans were left in stitches this evening at the innuendo-filled Signature Challenge.

The four semi-finalists were tasked with whipping up two batches of dipped Madeleines, but viewers could not contain their laughter on Twitter at the rather saucy description given by the judges.

Briony, Rahul, Kim-Joy and Ruby attempted the biscuits in a bid for a spot in the much-anticipated final next week.

However, while tensions were running high in the tent, viewers were immediately distracted by the fact the hopefuls had to produce biscuits with a hump.

Things only got funnier when Paul Hollywood praised Rahul's "perfect hump" during judging, while Rahul himself - who hails from India - asked in confusion: "Why is everyone joking about the hump?"

Fans rushed to Twitter to express their delight at the scene, with many sharing a number of giggling memes simply alongside the word "hump".

Other saucier fans joked: "I've coped with a lack of hump for years..." and "I mean, aren’t we all simply looking for the perfect hump?"

While further viewers added: "My Hump, my hump, my lovely madeleine lumps. Check them out."

And even: "Drink everytime they say 'hump'"

Meanwhile plenty of other viewers couldn't help but comment on Rahul's innocence, writing: "“why are people laughing about hump?” rahul why u so damn cute"
