There was already uproar on the night after Seann Walsh and Katya Jones were saved following the dance off.

Speaking to Zoe Ball this evening, Vick couldn’t stop her tears from falling when discussing her exit.

Vick said: “I respect them so much because they are the best in their field, so whatever they say, it goes, and I understand that it’s the way the show works… you have to make the most of what happens.

“They didn’t think we were the best couple and that’s cool… I’m honoured to have been a part of it.”

Strictly’s Vick Hope starts fix rumours and says viewers didn’t see producers pausing filming to consult with judges before they saved Seann Walsh and kicked her off

She said she ‘respected’ the show’s judges after being booted out of the competition when they saved Seann Walsh over her

She added: “Today feels better because at the end of the day, I got to do this incredible thing – I’m so lucky, I’m in a job where that sort of thing doesn’t come round much.

“What an amazing platform and opportunity to connect with an audience I wouldn’t get to connect with anyway… it’s been really amazing.”

Today BBC bosses were forced to deny claims of a fix after Vick’s comments.

A spokesperson told The Sun Online: “It is categorically untrue to imply that producers tell the Judges how to score or who to save.

“Each judge votes on each dance independently, based on its merits and in their expert opinion alone.”

They added: “The Judges use an electronic voting pad to transmit their score or choice of who to save to the production gallery which is then locked in and cannot be changed.

“Only after this does a producer speak to the judges, advising them on how long they have to speak and reminding them to give a reason for their decisions.

“The process was exactly the same this weekend.”
