The Crown season 3 films the moment a young Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles fell in love as they gazed into each other’s eyes at a polo match
THE Crown season 3 filmed the moment a young Prince Charles fell in love with Camilla Parker Bowles.
The hit series covered the moment the young Prince clamped eyes on his now wife Camilla after they had split and she had married Andrew Parker Bowles.
Actor Josh O'Connor ,28, made a convincing Charles as he stood clad in his T-shirt emblazoned with the prince's polo number '4' across it.
Josh captured Charles' youthful spirit as he bashfully spoke to his future wife Camilla in 1975.
And actress Emerald Fennell ,33, channelled a buxom young Camilla to perfection.
Wearing the same red polo top as Camilla in the iconic photo taken at Cirencester Park, Emerald looked a dead-ringer for the now Duchess of Cornwall.
The Crown recreated the iconic moment where HRH and Camilla were caught chatting at the polo match four years after they had first met and years after they had parted ways romantically.
The pic was taken just two years after Camilla had married cavalry officer Andrew Parker Bowles after splitting from Charles.
Dashing Josh was later seen straddling a horse as he played polo like the Prince.
Marion Bailey - who plays the Queen Mother - and Charles Dance - who plays Lord Mountbatten - were also seen at Cirencester Park during the shoot.
Elsewhere the cast of the Netflix series have been spotted filming for the third season.
Just last month Olivia Coleman and Helena Bonham Carter were seen together on set for the first time since they were announced to be playing The Queen and Princess Margaret.
They British actresses are grappling with the huge roles in the upcoming season of the hit show.
Clad in all black, Olivia and Helena channelled the Queen and Princess Margaret respectively as they filmed the next series.
Olivia linked her arm through Helena's as they walked through Winchester Cathedral together.
Helena was first spotted in character as glamorous Princess Margaret back in July.
The actress joined co-star Ben Daniels as she got to work filming her first few scenes, and she was in full costume.
But it was the first time that she'd been spotted with her on-screen sister the Queen - as played by Olivia.
And from the looks of it, the pair seamlessly took to their royal roles.
Though both stars have previously spoken of their fears about taking on The Queen and Princess Margaret.
