ALAN Sugar’s chauffeur put himself in the firing line – after pranging the computer mogul’s £250,000 Rolls Royce.
The RR Ghost with its distinctive AMS 1 number plate stars in the opening credits of the BBC’s Apprentice, currently in its 14th series.
It also ferries away the eventual winner who has escaped Amstrad boss Sir Alan’s catchphrase “you’re fired!”.
The limo driver was trying to reverse into a parking spot when he shunted the front of an Uber driver’s Toyota Prius in busy central London.
The Roller was left with a nasty hole in its back bumper, while the hybrid motor had its front end dented.
Ironically, as the drivers inspected the damage, a van bearing the message “Hire Intelligence” pulled alongside.
One bystander who snapped the scene on Wednesday said: “It was only a minor bump really but it made on hell of a bang.
“The chauffeur looked a little worried as the two exchanged insurance details.
“Sir Alan wasn’t in the car, but had he been, his driver might well have been on the end of a pointy finger and a famous catchphrase!”
