Love Island’s Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson in talks to front their own reality series
The couple have been approached by various production companies to film a fly-on-the-wall series about their romance
MEGAN Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson are in advance talks to front their own reality show, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
The Love Island couple were approached by various production companies to film a fly-on-the-wall series – but are still considering all their options before signing on the dotted line.
A TV source revealed: “Megan and Wes are one of few remaining Love Island couples to still be going strong following the last series.
“Fans are still eager to know about their relationship and how they have grown since meeting in the villa, including what it’s like living together in their own flat.
“Megan in particular has really made a name for her since the show finished; from magazine covers to TV appearances she has stood up for what she believes in and has portrayed a positive message for women.
“They were approached by several production companies and are only holding out at the moment as Wes is in the thick of his Dancing on Ice training and doesn’t want to take too much on.”
The Sun revealed that Wes had signed for the next series of Dancing on Ice after impressing producers in an audition.
The opportunity for him to appear on the show came a year after Love Island winner Kem Cetinay was a success, coming fourth overall in the competition.
Before finding love this summer Wes worked as a nuclear systems design engineer, but admitted he was keen to cash in on his newfound fame.
He said after leaving the villa: "My old company have left the door open for me to return but I'm up for seeing what opportunities are available for now."

The pair recently moved into their own flat together – with Wes confirming the arrangement has worked well for them.
He said: "It's going really well. We thought we would be at each other's throats but it's not like that at all.
"We essentially lived with each other in the villa for eight weeks so it's not too different, except we have to clean up after ourselves and cook. I lived with my mum and dad before so I'm learning the ropes."
