Cheryl’s fans whipped up into a frenzy after new pop single ‘release date’ leaked online
The singer, 35, has teamed up with Beyonce's collaborator, Naughty Boy, for her much-anticipated pop comeback
CHERYL'S fans have been whipped into a frenzy after her new pop single "release date" was leaked online.
The Fight For This Love singer, 35, was pictured on the set of her new music video, Love Made Me Do It, last week, which sent her fans wild hinting that her chart comeback is imminent.
And now a Twitter account has speculated that the former X Factor judge will release her single next Friday, October 26 - despite no official reveal from the pop star.
Celeb Polls claimed on the micro-blogging site: "*EXCLUSIVE* @CherylOfficial is coming to save pop music with #LoveMadeMeDoIt. COMING 26.10.18".
The tweet thrilled Cheryl's loyal fans, who were overcome with excitement about the speculation.
One fan commented: "If this is true I'll die. It's a day after my birthday."
"Is this trueeee?????" another excitedly added.
Cheryl's rep has been contacted for comment.
The claims come after her collaborator Naughty Boy revealed Cheryl's new music is "100 per cent personal and will show fans the real her".
In an interview with magazine, the music producer - who has previously worked with Beyonce - told all on Cheryl's pop comeback.
Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, was careful not to give too much away however and wouldn't be drawn on whether the music would cover Cheryl's split with One Direction star Liam Payne.
He said: "It is 100 per cent personal and it's about time people got to know the real Cheryl.

"I think when you're writing songs there is a different vulnerability and that comes though songwriting , so I am proud of her that she has got more involved this time and not just as a singer."
He added: "The lyrics really mean something to her - sometimes you have to put in a bit of heart for people to see that there is a real struggle."
Cheryl has been throwing herself into work after splitting from her one-year-old son Bear's dad Liam in the summer.
