As well as bagging the top prize on Love Island, the pair have also appeared on The Only Way Is Essex, and now they want to strike out alone.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online at the Elbrook Cash & Carry charity gala dinner, in support of the British Asian Trust, at Chak89 restaurant, Cara explained: “We want our own show about us. We think we’re exciting enough for our own series.

“There’s the wedding, the baby - we've got our own stuff going on and we think our fans would be interested to see it.

“We've had a lot of meetings and we're in talks with networks about getting our own show. We're just waiting to find what works best for us.

“There are so many reality stars now, but I think we're big enough names to be standalone now.

“We're not just Cara, 28, and Nathan, 29, who won Love Island. We're Cara and Nathan!”
