Sophie Kasaei admits she PUNCHED Sam Gowland in the face and says ‘I deeply regret it’ as she ‘faces the sack from Geordie Shore’

SOPHIE Kasaei has admitted that she punched Sam Gowland in the face and could now ‘be sacked from Geordie Shore’.

Earlier this year,  The Sun Online revealed there had been an altercation between the pair over her reportedly being jealous of his romance with Chloe Ferry and insiders now say Sophie could lose her place on the MTV show.

Discussing what really happened for the first time during the wild night out in Benidorm, Sophie admitted she “regretted” her actions, while Sam revealed that it wasa “full on punch”.

Sophie, 22, told us: “I got so irate and I snapped and obviously I regret it.

“I’m very protective over Chloe though she’s like my little sister. I was angry because he was upsetting her and I thought she deserved better. He said I was just jealous and I totally lost it.

“I got punished because you can’t show violence.”

She added: “In the real world you wouldn’t speak again but in Geordie Shore you have to make up the next day or the environment is too toxic.”

Sam said of the incident: “Sophie full on punched us. She proper punched me in the face.

“It was over nothing. She was going in on me so I told her to stop being jealous.

“She just came up to me, put her arm around me, slapped me around the face and as I pulled back she punched me in the face. I just sat and took it and Nathan carried her off.

“I couldn’t believe it. I was fuming all night and the next morning.”

An insider confirmed bosses had been investigating her behaviour, telling us: “Geordie Shore bosses were furious about what happened.

“It really isn’t the sort of behaviour they want to be promoting on the show.

“Sophie has been warned that if anything like that ever happens again she will be gone for good.”

A rep for Sophie and Sam and MTV said: “No comment”.
