Strictly’s Craig Revel-Horwood insists the judges have NEVER fixed scores on the show

CRAIG Revel Horwood has insisted the judges never fix the scores on Strictly Come Dancing.

The 53-year-old has been part of the show since it began in 2004, and has now firmly blasted claims the foursome manipulate the leaderboard to keep their favourite contestants in.

Three years ago former pros James and Ola Jordan claimed the judges try to “influence” public voting by basing their scores on contestant popularity.

However Craig has insisted this is far from the case, telling the : “Ola Jordan threw in the towel during the 2015 season, after she and sprinter Iwan Thomas were voted out.

“She had stuck it out for two years after her husband James left the show but quit after giving an interview accusing the judges of fixing the score. Per-lease!

“I can assure everyone we have never fixed anything in our lives. Our scores are honest reflections of what we see in front of us.”

The judge added he feels Ola and and her husband “played their cards wrong” by leaving the show on bitter terms, having clashed with James numerous times over the years.

James walked from the series in 2014 – although it was claimed he had been sacked at the time – before Ola left the following year.

Both gave scathing interviews about the show after their departure, with the Polish dancer telling The Sun at the time: “People are over-marked and under-marked.

“In my opinion they know how many votes people scored in the previous weeks and then they try to influence their position on the leaderboard.

“If the show is not fair, it takes the fun out of it.”
