STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have demanded that Sean Walsh is disqualified after they vowed not to vote for him following his shock snog with Katya Jones.
Over the weekend The Sun On Sunday exclusively revealed the shocking pictures of the Strictly Come Dancing pair - who are both in relationships - locking lips on a street in London after a night out and now Seann is the favourite to be the next celeb voted off the show.
Following the revelation, fans who had previously supported him said they would no longer vote to keep him on the show, with some going as far as to say he should automatically lose his place.
One person wrote: “#katyajones #seannwalsh should be disqualified from the show if the rumours are true. Integrity and professional behaviour should be upheld in all professions.
"They have tainted the show and their own morals and disrespect for their partners and colleagues. #strictly"
A second tweeted: "Sad for your girlfriend. Especially after seeing her so obviously happy for you on Saturday. Disappointed to say the least. You’ve lost my vote. Your apology and Katyas timed perfectly. Very contrived.”
Another wrote: “Come on public vote out @seannwalsh LOVE RAT #strictlycurse.”
While someone else added: “@Mrs_katjones @seannwalsh I was supporting you until iv seen your cheating on your husband and girlfriend....Vote them off no time for cheaters!!!! Poor @Mr_NJones and @Beckshumps deserve better #StrictlyComeDancing #VoteThemOut.”
Last night both Sean and Katya issued grovelling apologies for their smooch, branding it a “one-off, drunken mistake”.
Katya, 29, told fans: “I’m so sorry about any offence or hurt I have caused with my actions.
“I wasn’t thinking and it was a one off mistake after some drinks.
“I love my husband and we are very happy together, this is not a reflection on our relationship.”
Seann, 32, followed suit and added: “In light of the story in today's newspaper I would like to offer my sincere apologies for my actions. This is no excuse but it was a one-off drunken mistake which I am truly sorry for.”
After the pictures of their steamy kiss were revealed, Seann's heartbroken girlfriend Rebecca Humphries was comforted by pals.
She liked a series of supportive tweets after news of the kiss, which happened on her birthday, broke.
One read: "You seem ace and generally an all round excellent human. Sorry a mean, rubbish thin happened to you. Women of the UK are behind you. Rock on.";
Katya's husband Neil spoke out just hours after and was then pictured in London on his way to work at a dance studio.
An eyewitness who saw the kiss between Seann and Katya told The Sun On Sunday: “They were snogging like a pair of teenagers and didn’t seem to care who might see them.”
Lee Ryan was the second celebrity to be voted off Strictly last night.
Lee and his professional partner, Nadiya Bychkova were in the dance off with Charles Venn and Karen Clifton.
