Peter Andre desperate for Katie Price to complete second rehab stint so she can be a ‘stable mum’ to Princess and Junior
PETER Andre is desperate for Katie Price to get better so that she can be a "stable mum" for their children.
Star Katie, 40, is currently in rehab at The Priory for PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), and her ex-husband Peter, 45, is hoping that she can sort herself out for the sake of the kids Junior, 13, and 11-year-old Princess.
A source told : "Pete just wants Katie to be happy and healthy - he wants his kids to have a stable mum.
"She needs to get help for her problems - that's all Pete wants for her. Everything in his life is 100 per cent perfect except for this."
Princess and Junior have been living with Peter and his wife Emily MacDonagh ever since Katie's life started to spiral out of control earlier this year.
Katie, who hit the town last night with Alex Adderson, was caught on camera rapping about her love of cocaine and managed to miss a number of milestones in her children’s lives.
Meanwhile, Katie married Peter in 2005 and split four years later - previously blamed Peter for her previous drug use, claiming that his abhorrence for her drinking led to her taking drugs.
In her 2008 book, Jordan: Pushed To The Limit, Katie wrote: "I'm not saying that I blame Pete for the night I ended up taking drugs during my lowest suffering from the postnatal depression, that's my responsibility alone.
"But a small part of me feels that Pete drove me to that point because he's so against me having a drink and having any kind of relapse.

"I definitely haven't got a drink problem, I've probably only been drunk five or six times, but on the rare occasion that I've got pissed, Pete makes it feel like I do have a problem and he turns it into such a big deal.
"Pete hates what I'm like when I've had a drink. He tells me that my personality completely changes. I become more confident and I love it.
"The fact is, I get paranoid that people are staring at me when I go out - when I've had a couple of cocktails I relax and forget about the stares."
Back in 2006, Peter brought Katie to The Priory after she took drugs.
The Sun Online has contacted Pete's rep for comment.
