Who is Didi Conn and is she married?

Didi Conn was born Edith Bernstein on July 13, 1951, in Brooklyn.

The Dancing On Ice star married for the first time in 1975 when she wed Frank "Frankie" Conn - however, they divorced three years later.

In 1983, she married composer David Shire, and the couple are still happily married today.

She has one son, Daniel, who was diagnosed with autism.

How old was Didi Conn when she played Frenchy in Grease?

Didi is best known for her role as Frenchy in 1978 iconic American musical romantic comedy Grease.

Although the character was a high school student, Didi was actually 27 years old when she played the part.

Frenchy was Sandy's closest friend, played by Olivia Newton-John, in the Pink Ladies and Didi became one of the only original cast members to reprise her role for 1982's ill-fated sequel Grease 2.

Didi is now 67-years-old.

What else has Didi Conn been in other than Grease?

Prior to Grease, Didi, real name Edith Conn, née Bernstein, had only been in one movie, called You Light Up My Life.

But since the film came out, twice-married Didi has been in dozens of TV shows and films including Frida, Almost Summer and Law & Order.

She has also voiced characters in Rugrats, Thomas and the Magic Railroad and The Wild Thornberrys.

What has Didi Conn said about Dancing On Ice?

On October 5, 2018, Didi revealed during an appearance on ITV's Lorraine that she was the latest star confirmed to appear on Dancing On Ice.

In a statement, the actress added: “Boy oh boy, I’m going from being a Pink Lady to Queen of the Ice.”

She was partnered with Lukasz Rozycki.

However, it wasn't meant to be, and on January 27, 2018, she was the third skater to leave the competition.

And after her exit it was revealed she had to rush back to America to be with her sick husband.
