Geordie Shore’s new cast member revealed as devout Christian Faith Mullen who believes sex before marriage is a sin
19-year-old Faith Mullen is the newest recruit for the hit MTV show
MTV bosses have shaken up Geordie Shore by recruiting a Christian who believes sex before marriage is a sin.
Faith Mullen, 19 - who describes herself as "friends with Jesus" - is the newest addition to the Newcastle gang, but she's promised that her beliefs won't stop her from partying.
Speaking to The Sun's Bizarre column, Faith said: "I've always wanted to show that being a young Christian girl, you don't have to be boring and do nothing, you can party as much as much as possible.
"I mean Jesus' first miracle was turning water into wine, so that was something I wanted to do.
"I wanted to be a voice for the young Christian community and show this whole new generation. It's not boring religious, sitting in a church falling asleep anymore."
However, the teenager's beliefs have stopped her from having sex on the show.
She said: "I see it in the way that to me sex before marriage is a sin, but I'm someone who's had sex before marriage.
"None of us are perfect and we all sin every single day and to me that's what Jesus died on the cross for, he died for that so he loves us all equally.
"I've got no judgement towards anybody. I think if you're happy with what you're doing in life, we're all Jesus children."

Talking about her antics on the series, the reality star added: "I kissed random guys on nights out, but there was nothing more than that. I love a cheeky snog every now and again.
"But that's also me as a person that's not a religious thing, I'm just very much not someone to just have sex with someone randomly."
Geordie Shore series 18 premieres on October 16 at 10pm on MTV.
