GOOD Morning Britain's Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard were in stitches today as they watched after newsreader Balvinder Sidhu went flying in the studio.

The presenters showed a clip of Balvinder's embarrassing tumble and wouldn't let her live it down.

Balvinder's unfortunate fall took place last night before she went on air.

She's seen stepping into position in front of the camera and looks down but then suddenly goes flying and lands in a heap on the floor.

A producer was on hand to help her to her feet following the gaffe, which happened off air.

But GMB couldn't resist showing the hilarious fall and Kate and Ben cried with laughter as they played the clip multiple times before asking viewers to share their embarrassing moments.

Ben told viewers: "She is one of our regional and ITV broadcasters and does the opt-out in the Midlands."This is her getting ready, it's like she slipped on a banana skin. (Can we watch it) One last time!"

Kate squealed: "Why did you fall Balvinder?" as Ben replied: "Her shoe fell off!"

He added: "She's actually working this morning and decided to send us a little message."

Brave Balvinder told viewers that she had survived her fall and had worn trainers in to work on Friday morning.

She said: "I just want to let the nation know I am absolutely fine! And look I'm wearing trainers in the studio today, but I'm glad I'm entertaining people at home this morning."

The inspiration behind showing Balvinder's fall came from US President Donald Trump, who was spotted with toilet paper stuck to his shoe as he walked on to Air Force One.

Kate and Ben also treated viewers to embarrassing stories of their own.

Kate said: "I once stayed in a hotel near here and I got up early in the morning. Went downstairs and I couldn't get out of the door. You know when they have the doors locked at night.

"Suddenly a security guard emerged and said 'Oh let me help you' before he looked at me like 'Errrr'.

"Then I looked down and realised I had tights on, heels on, and no skirt. Anyway he's out of therapy now."
