He wears Tommy's trademark flat cap and sharp, three-piece suit as he looks ahead into the distance.

Fans of the hit BBC drama have been desperate for the return of the show and series fave Tommy.

And they don't have to wait too much longer as it's set to return next year.

: “I’ve always had a pretty clear road map of how this works between World War One and World War Two, and it’s flexible in that you can get to the destination quicker or slower.

"So in my mind it’s probable that we’ll get there at the end of series five. It may be series six.”
