LOVE Island's Laura Anderson has revealed Ellie Brown burst into tears after Charlie Brake dumped her on Instagram.
The 20-year-old reality star was blindsided by the rich lothario after he announced their split without her knowledge.
Ellie and Laura were partying together at The Best Heroes Awards when Charlie, 24, put the post online, leaving Ellie heartbroken.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online at the Impulse Body Mists , Laura, 29, explained: “She’s fine now but she had no idea whatsoever that was coming.
“I was with her and she just burst into tears.”
After the news was made public, Ellie’s fans rallied round her and sent her multiple messages of support.
Many poured scorn on his decision to reveal the decision so publicly, and Laura – who became great friends with Ellie in the Love Island – agreed wholeheartedly.
She added: People are very different to what they’re like in the villa.
“I don’t understand it. He did not go about it in the right way in my opinion. It was wrong.”
After their break up, friends close to Ellie told The Sun Online she caught Charlie cheating, after a fan sent her pictures of him with having dinner with another woman.
A source added: “In the heat of the moment Charlie ended it but then rushed to Instagram to tell everyone; and that really upset Ellie.
“She felt incredibly hurt and disrespected.”
He has since moved on with stunning blonde Kimberley Owen.
Yesterday the pair made their romance official after posting a picture together online.
Ellie it seems has put the heartbreak behind her and last night was spotted partying with Love Island co-star Zara McDermott and their pals.
