Dani Dyer didn’t even tell Jack Fincham about her engagement prank and he only found out when his furious mates rang him about it
JACK Fincham had a furious argument with his mates after Dani Dyer even fooled them with an engagement prank this morning.
The Love Island winner was shocked to learn of their pending marriage when he was woken by phone calls and insists they have no plans to wed.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun just hours after the prank fooled the nation, Jack, who is starring in Wrigley’s Extra online In My Personal Space series with comedian Tom Ward, said: “That was funny that was.
"I was sound asleep my phone kept ringing. I was going, 'Who's got the audacity to ring me at this time?' So I was really annoyed.
"'You're engaged. Why didn't you tell me', I went, 'What are you talking about?' They were angry, they were actually angry.
"'I don't know what you're talking about'. 'Well you're engaged'. I went, 'No I'm not'. They went, 'Yes you are'.
"I'm actually having an argument with my mates and my brother about being engaged.
"I was laughing, 'I'm not'. I just started cracking up. I was like, 'So stupid'.
"I hadn't looked at anything so all I had was people telling me I'm engaged and I'm going, 'No I'm not'.
"So that's all I had to go on at the start. I thought I had to have a look at this, 'Ahh haha'.”
Sharing a picture of a silver ring with a simple diamond, Dani, 21, wrote: "I said yes. My soulmate."
Jack has previously admitted he wants to get married next year but has no immediate plans to pop the question.
He said: "I think we're going to have a bank holiday (when we get married).
"There are no plans for it. It's just a joke, I don't know what to say. It's funny.
"I'd like to think so. At the end of the day we want buy somewhere to get settled. It's not something we've thought about now.”
