DANI Dyer was spotted wearing her "engagement" ring on her third finger today, after pranking fans with a fake proposal.

The Love Island star announced she had "said yes" to boyfriend Jack Fincham on Instagram this morning, but later revealed the post was just a joke.

After fooling the nation with the announcement, Dani could not help but laugh as she nipped out for some food this afternoon.

While she still wore the band on her left hand, the budding actress swapped it onto her third finger - in further confirmation the post had been a joke.

Dani and Jack sent fans into a frenzy with their false engagement announcement, shared to Instagram during their appearance on the Capital FM breakfast show.

Posting a picture of silver ring with a simple diamond, Dani wrote: " I said yes. My soulmate."

However, the star soon revealed it was a prank orchestrated by show host Roman Kemp, leaving their followers in stitches.

Marriage might not be too far off for the couple though, as after winning the show Jack, 26, told The Sun they would definitely tie the knot.

He told us: “We’re getting married next year, 100 per cent. Like my mum said to me so many times, ‘When you know about someone, you just know’.

“And now I know what she’s talking about. I just know that’s what we want to do.”

Yet, Jack went on to reveal the pair would rather save up for their own house before walking down the aisle.

He told : "I'd love to get married to Dani, but not right now.

"I'd like us to have bought a house together first. It's something that will more than likely happen."

The couple have already moved in together and have remained as close as ever after three months of dating.
