Strictly’s Susannah Constantine reveals she feels ‘bloody horrible’ in video after vowing to never dance again as she’s booted off the show first
The 56-year-old appeared miserable after losing her place on the BBC dance show as she admitted she should stick to what she is good at
SUSANNAH Constantine has revealed she feels “bloody horrible” after becoming the first person to be booted off Strictly Come Dancing - and has vowed to never dance again.
The 56-year-old - who was partnered with Anton du Beke for the competition - shared an Instagram video from her bed this morning, just hours after The Sun revealed she had a “backstage tantrum” following the show yesterday.
Looking upset, she told fans: “So my Strictly journey is over but it is an experience that is going to stay with me for the rest of my life.
“It’s bloody horrible going out first, I am not going to lie and I feel so bad for Anton who put in so much time and effort into trying to get me to dance but I know my limitations and I can do many things but dancing isn’t one of them."
The fashion adviser continued: “However, I tried my best and worked so hard at it but you have just got to realise that there are some things you can’t do and for me dancing is one of them and I was definitely the worst so my place at the bottom is deserved and I wish everyone so much luck.
“Those kids are the nicest group of people you could ever hope to meet and I love you all.”
Last night when asked if she would keep dancing Susannah said: “You’ve got to know what you’re good at and I’m not good at dancing. So I’ll focus on the things that I am good at.”
As her stint came to an end, a backstage source said: “Susannah ended up in tears after the scores were given out — she takes herself quite seriously and wasn’t happy about it.
“She told people it was to do with her son going off to uni but she was obviously furious.”
“She seemed to hate every minute of it. She ignored the other dancers and didn’t talk to the judges and seemed to think she was above everyone else.
"She certainly didn’t want to join in with congratulating Ashley (Roberts) on her amazing marks.”
The star failed to impress judges with her Foxtrot to Frank Sinatra’s They Can’t Take That Away From Me during the dreaded dance-off against Lee Ryan and his partner Nadiya Bychkova.
The judging panel were unanimous in their decision as they all opted to save Lee and Nadiya.
Craig Revel-Horwood had previously given her a second mark of one during the show.
