Furious Susannah Constantine ‘had a backstage tantrum’ after being the first contestant to be booted off Strictly Come Dancing

STRICTLY turkey Susannah Constantine flew into a fury before being booted out.

The fashion guru, 56, became the first contestant to leave, as it emerged she had clashed with other celebs and pro dancers throughout her brief stint.

It came after another drubbing by the judges on Saturday — including a second mark of one from Craig Revel-Horwood.

A backstage source said: “Susannah ended up in tears after the scores were given out — she takes herself quite seriously and wasn’t happy about it.

“She told people it was to do with her son going off to uni but she was obviously furious.”

“She seemed to hate every minute of it. She ignored the other dancers and didn’t talk to the judges and seemed to think she was above everyone else.

But behind the scenes she sparked disagreements after moaning about tiredness and sore feet, and her costumes.

And she was unimpressed at being paired with Anton Du Beke — fearing they would become this year’s joke act.

After being ousted, Susannah said: “I’ll probably focus on the things that I’m good at.”

Top TV but 1m waltz off

AN audience of 9.5 million saw Saturday’s live show, making it the most-watched TV of the night.
The figure is a million down on 2017’s second week amid criticism over the lack of big stars.
