EastEnders viewers sickened as Mick Carter goes bad and breaks a man’s fingers in prison after thugs threaten wife Linda

EASTENDERS fans saw a darker side to Mick Carter tonight when he turned violent and broke a man's fingers in jail.

Viewers heard the crack of breaking bones and rushed to Twitter to react to the latest twist in the caged landlord's prison nightmare.

Mick, played by Danny Dyer, was surrounded by thugs who wanted him to turn on his cell mate Bob.

One menacing convict got cocky with Linda Carter's husband, and he held up a photo of her before disgusting fans by licking it.

A viewer said on Twitter: "the storyline rn with mick in eastenders is absolutely disgusting, why anyone would wanna watch that is beyond me"

Another fan tweeted: "Always knew Mick could proper switch but that weird guy licking Linda’s picture"

As one viewer said: ";Mick is now 50% dark side!"

And one fan said: "This Mick Carter storyline is getting silly now , love Eastenders but not sure if i can watch much more."

The Queen Vic landlord - who is played by actor Danny Dyer in the BBC soap - has been jailed on the suspicion of trying to kill his old friend Stuart Highway.

And Vile Stuart has set up his friend by telling the criminals in prison that Mick is a child abuser.

Tonight viewers also saw Stuart's daughter Zara visit Mick in prison, and she left convinced that the family man was innocent.

She confronted her dad and said: "I tell you what I do know Dad, he's a good man. I wish I had a family like his.

"It's only a matter of time before they find out what you are up to."

Zara, who also revealed she uses a cigarette to self harm, then walked out of the house with her suitcase packed.
