What is Colette about?

The film is based on the French novelist Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette.

In the movie Colette is pushed by her husband Willy to write novels under his name as his ghost writer.

Upon their success, she fights to make her talents known, challenging gender norms in the early 20th century.
