Apprentice winner Leah Totton makes her first million after Lord Sugar agreed to have Botox when she hit the milestone
THE Apprentice star Leah Totton has made her first million five years after winning the show - and following Lord Sugar's promise to have Botox if she hit the milestone.
The junior doctor won the BBC 1 series with a business plan to open a string of drop-in cosmetic surgery centres.
She opened her first clinic in London soon after being told “you’re hired” by tycoon Lord Sugar.
She now owns another centre and is set to open two more.
Lord Sugar injected £250,000 into the business and she’s repaid his faith after figures showed the firm made a profit of £1,002,160 – up from £718,610 in 2016.
And Lord Sugar has even agreed to get Botox for the first time at 71 if she made the firm as success.
Leah has set up drop-in cosmetic clinics called Dr Leah Ltd
The tycoon said of Leah's Botox procedures: “Leah says she wants to video me having it done. I said when she makes her first million quid, I’ll do it.
“But it’s no good me getting rid of my frown marks, that’s what I do!”
Leah agreed that it's a good idea, saying: “Lord Sugar would benefit from Botox on his forehead and frown lines to reduce the depth of his wrinkles.”
Lord Sugar — speaking earlier this month at the launch of 2016 winner Alana Spencer’s Cakepreneurs business — is no stranger to cosmetic help.
In 2007 he paid £6,000 to lose bags under his eyes.
Leah's business it's set to go from strength to strength according to experts.
A wealth management accountant said: “The figures are very pleasing indeed for an investor.
“This firm has all the hallmarks of being a multi-million-pound concern within five to seven years at this rate of turnover.”
The Apprentice returned to our screens this week with 14 fresh new candidates.
And some of them have already caused quite a stir, including hopeful Kayode Damali who shockingly posted a picture of his STI results online.
Kayode was also subject to the focus of fans who had spotted an unfortunate Photoshop fail that gave him three hands.
And it's not his first brush with fame - the motivational speaker has already appeared on Come Dine With Me and flirted with BBC host Victoria Derbyshire during a televised EU debate.
This comes as Lord Sugar aired his concerns over applicants being motivated to appear on the show "for the wrong reasons" - aka fame.
