Devastated Katie Price is ‘in tears every day because she misses her kids and Facetimes them constantly’
The 40-year-old embarked on a 28-day stint in rehab on Monday, suffering post-traumatic stress disorder
KATIE Price is missing her children so much in rehab that she's been left in tears every day.
The mum-of-five, 40, checked into The Priory for post-traumatic stress disorder last week, but the distance from her family is already starting to take its toll.
Katie sought help after an intervention from her family, when footage of her rapping "I love coke" during a wild night out in Majorca emerged.
While she's thrown herself into her recovery, and has even taken up knitting in order to relax at the clinic, The Sun Online can reveal she's finding the separation from her children difficult to deal with.
A source said: "Katie has been missing her kids desperately and has been in tears at some points.
"She's a devoted mum and time apart from her kids is very hard for her.
"She's been Facetiming Bunny, Jett, Princess and Junior every day as she gets treatment. She can't wait to see them again."
The Sun On Sunday revealed Katie had been diagnosed with PTSD last week, with her mum Amy telling the paper: “She has been walking a fine edge lately, and everyone knows it.
“Kate is a fighter and the least likely person I know to feel sorry for herself, so to see her so completely lost has been terrifying.”
Amy was diagnosed with idopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2017 and only has a couple of years to live.
A source told us: “Amy basically said it was her dying wish for Katie to sort her life out and get help.
“There’s no way she could refuse. The decision was made between Katie, her management and her family that she would go to The Priory.”
An emotional Katie admitted she desperately needed help to stop her self-destructive behaviour, and headed for a consultation.
She officially checked in on Monday, and will receive treatment for 28 days before her condition is re-assessed.

The clinic has put her on a curfew but allows her home in the evenings to care for her children. She is banned from social media and has had her phone confiscated.
The rehab stint comes after a tough year for Katie, which has seen her deal with her mother's illness as well as her divorce from Kieran Hayler and bankruptcy battle.
Katie, who was once worth £45million, has been given three months to come up with a plan to pay off her debts by the High Court, after blowing her fortune on plastic surgery, luxury holidays and a £1million farm. Her application will be heard on October 30.
